General Motors, recognising the available market for the subcompact car class, recently unvailed their newest subcompact: the Aveo. However, as opposed to designing a car in America, for American buyers, GM has decided to once again embark in a joint venture project with Suzuki (as well as Daewoo this time around) to style and build the car.
Two models will be available: a four-door hatchback and a four-door sedan (sound fimilar?). This go around the car will feature a 1.6 Liter Dual Overhead Cam 4-cylinder engine. The hatchback will come in with a three inch longer wheelbase than 2000's Metro hatchback, and the sedan will be two inches longer than its predecessor: the Metro sedan. |
